Conference National Relegations   Message 49018Mon, 15 April 2019 17:53  Go to next message

Given that all 4 relegations from the Conference National are all Southern Teams the League are going to gave to do a lot of juggling about to make up the numbers in the Northern section.

As it stands Gloucester and Oxford City would go North. If Gloucester were to be relegated, then Braintree would be next.

Agree with Braintree Mark but, if Gloucester don't survive then there is an argument that Chelmsford, if they don't win the play offs, and even possibly Hemel and St Albans are slightly higher in a line across the country than Oxford, although Oxford have been there before, and they have the motorway network, as do Hemel and St Albans really!

Don't you just love the AGM cup?

They won't split Hemel Hempstead and St Albans due the closeness. Oxford is the obvious choice due to the easiness of getting to the M40.

Last season it was 4 Northern teams relegated, so it is just a balancing act. Could always send Aldershot north as the other three have all played in CS before.😉

Indeed, much easier for them to up the M5 than trying to get across the M25 car park.
