Another great team performance. Took a little time to really get going against a side that struggled up front. Good football by Boro provided the scoring opportunities. Connor had a great game chasing and winning lots of balls - unlucky not to score. Played well out of defence and through midfield. Conditions worsened in second half making high clearance kicks a bit of a lottery but Boro battled to the end. Well done again lads

I'm delighted to hear we played through midfield, something that has been lacking for a very, very long time. Maybe an epiphany somewhere?

Lets hope it continues??

Likewise, a lucky draw at Shrewsbury might see a change as well, hopefully, or maybe the continental contingent didn't understand the pressures of a local Cup tie away to lower opposition!!

There was a lot of over the top stuff for either MCS to flick on to Cullen or some nice hold up play.

When we did hold it in their half the midfield joined in to great effect and opened them up.

Not so much threaded cultured balls from the middle but the lads there did work hard to pressure and win the ball back

was impressed with the back line, Bevon and Owens look very assured on the ball.

Gosport weren't the greatest side and struggled with playing 1 up top.

I'll describe it as an efficient performance which merited the win.
