Rolling back on   Message 47743Sun, 21 October 2018 11:56  Go to next message

Much as I felt sorry for the Salisbury lad that limped off injured, it was quite noticeable that he went down off of the field of play and pulled himself back on so that the referee would stop the game to his side's advantage. I was not at the Merthyr game but I am told that this is not the first time that this has happened this season.
I have not re-read the rules of the game for a long time so can someone tell me if I am correct in assuming that "ungentlemanly conduct" is no longer a booking offence.

Morgan, the chief offender for Merthyr, was sent off at Salisbury last week, so possibly could be rolling around in the stands on Saturday!! Another sent off in the same game as well, so we will see. Bet they have appealed or something!!!

Spencer says he feels sorry for Merthyr, in the weeks NLP, for having to travel so far for a cup tie!!!

Do you think they would feel the same for us if it was reversed?? No chance!

You can hear their Managers talk in that circumstances: "Come on lads they've had a long journey, they will be jaded and a bit tired. Lets get at them from the start!!!"

Its good to be nice, but lets do it at 5.30, after the game eh??

Don't get the excuses in first!!!!!!!!!
