Brendan Murphy-McVey (Staines Town) - we needed a midfielder and sounds like Brendan is the chosen one. :0)
Jay Gasson (dual-registered with Kingstonian) - a temporary move, but good to see the Gasman back at Boro'.
Ibby Akanbi (trialist)

Welcome to all.

And Jack Barton departs for pastures new. Good luck Jack, and thanks!

Good to see the squad being strengthened, with the recent injuries etc.
Cue all the mindless revolving door comments

Good to get some Club news at last!
Welcome back Jay. even if it is only for a short stint, but you never know!!

Midfield has certainly been a problem, and lets hope Brendan can do that job.
I really thought Bart man could have filled that gap!!, but he never really got the rub of the green in my opinion, and deserved a longer run in the team. Good luck though Jack and thanks for your time, and some great goals here.

I guess Ibby is here to give competition to our front three!!

Might gee up Michael a bit too!! He frustrates me a bit. Great skill and electric pace, but I have that nagging vision in my mind of Dan Bennet when he plays!! Don't know why, but I do!!

Lets hope he gets a hat trick tomorrow, and shuts me up!!

COME ON YOU YELLOWWSSAA!!

To be fair, if Michael focuses, he will move up the chain. Fair enough. If his ambition is to play in the Southern Premier League then he's already realised it.

'The Boro Walk' has spotted that Brett Cunningham has signed for Winchester. Shame that, he looked to me like he had good potential to rise out of the youth team and be a 1st team asset....

So, of the three signings announce on Friday, only ONE actually appeared today!! Great!!

It would seem that a 'technical difficulty' from the Staines end, meant that Brendan was unable to play today, despite everything being in order from Boro's end!!

Looks likely hefty fines from League or FA could be coming the Swans way shortly!!

Brendan was actually here today, but only joining in the kick about, and he is signed, just not released properly!!!
Let's hope it gets sorted by Monday!!

Also K's reneged on the loan arrangement, within 48 hours of agreeing it, and Jay played for them on Friday night!!
The biggest problem with loan players, as we found to our cost last season!!

We might moan about things, player wise, but it isn't always the Club's fault, if external, Sunday League type, administration interferes!!

Perhaps not announcing anything on social media before confirmation from the league is received would be sensible? All this makes the club look even more like mugs than we do already by announcing signings we DON'T ACTUALLY HAVE SIGNED... Why does the club allow itself to be 'played' time and again in this manner? Surely doing the same thing repeatedly whilst expecting a different result to before is a fool's game? Here's a suggestion: don't go public till AFTERWARDS.

Whilst I agree with most of what you say HBB, you have to have a little bit of sympathy with ANY Club Officials, when everything IS signed, and agreed by all parties, and the player is on the point of registration, when poor practice from the supplying Club delays forwarding the release forms that enable formal registration and playing of the player for the new Club!!

Some would call it sour grapes at losing a good player, or maybe just call it incompetence!! You can judge for yourselves!!

I'm sure the League and F.A., will probably have some thing to say!!

There are many areas of improvement needed at the Club, most of which I'm sure we are all aware of, but there are also times when it gets kicked in the teeth needlessly, and beyond it's control.

Not denying the club has fallen victim to people practicing some of the 'dark arts' of football admin, its just you shouldn't wherever possible leave yourself open to every man and his dog realising you've been stitched-up via being premature on social media!
