It'll pay for itself if it gets results and thereby increases crowd numbers, as I would expect it to with that amount of talent available to BlazingSquad.
That's exactly the set-up we should have, with Spencer moving to the DoF role and someone capable coming in to manage instead. Rather that than the stale, depressing set-up we currently have for the foreseeable future.

I shouldn't think the Hartley Wintney bloke is on much. And the team, apart from a couple of more experienced players, is paid nothing. Means you can pay a manager/assistant something reasonable.

Indeed. Which of their 18 year olds are Basi stoke splashing their cash on? The whole point of their coaching set up is that they're then relying on being able to bring the best out of youngsters, with a few more experiences players. So a more successful version of the Farnborough shambles.
