What a load of shite! Only half decent one is Woking at home but its on a Tuesday night!

Aldershot
Badshot
Hartley
Fleet
Camberley

Iv named 5 there that are rediculously local but yet we go up against the likes of Ashford, Bedfont and Spelthorne all AWAY that creates no money for the club atall!

This might sound like a stupid question, but why are all bar one away from home? The basis of most successful seasons is a strong home record, but we'll be lucky if our players can find the ground!

Would have thought it was to save money on opening the stadium up and keeping the pitch in the best condition possible. Bit of a shame we are not playing more local teams such as Camberley Fleet or Basingstoke especially as Basingstoke or even Harltey Whitney would be a good test as to where our current squad measure up too.

Oh well we worked hard in our pre pre season to prepare for this moment.

Kevin Dyer told us that there was a considerable amount of work being done on the pitch through the summer, particularly in front of the main stand, and in both goalmouths.

Therefore as much time as possible would be needed for new turf and grass to bed in, so I can understand the need for only the last psf game to be at home before the season starts!

Just to clarify a few points .
The pitch has constantly been used from the end of the season up until last Saturday, with Camberley cup finals , charity events etc, this week we have laid new turf in goal mouths , penalty areas and lines for officials, this cannot be played on for at least a minimum of 6-8 weeks as it needs to bed in. On Saturday 9th June we're holding a Nepalese concert for the 2nd year running, with expected crowds of 3000, . We then start preparations for the new season with vertidrain of the pitch , drill seeding 20 tons of sharp sand, 20 tons of top soil, plus repairs to various parts of the pitch, this then needs another good 6 weeks to properly grow, thus this is why we don't have many home friendly games
