Ground share invitation   Message 46684Wed, 16 May 2018 10:44  Go to next message

I note from the official site the club is making the stadium available for a ground share arrangement.

Good close season ground preparation would be needed along with appropriate in season treatment on bare patches to provide a season long good playing surface.

It's also a bit late now, as Clubs have to notify Leagues of ground sharing arrangements by March 31st, for the following season, unless the Club are looking for non football sharing!!

Maybe Reading Ladies could come back?, as they only play during summer months.

Think that changed their season to run inline with men's now.

Not any more they don't. The FA, in their infinite wisdom, decided that women's football really needs to compete during season with men's football for media coverage and crowds, so it's now a winter league.

The same FA that put Cinderford in the East and Didcot in the West!

The same F.A. that put Banbury in the south, Hitchin in the midlands, and Met Police way out of their depth!!

I see that the F.A. have now moved Cinderford back in to the Western section, as of the 15th.

Didcot, Police, Hitchin and Evesham, plus a few others, allegedly have appeals ongoing!!, and I don't think Banbury are too pleased either.
Wisbech seem to be making the most noise though!

Long live the AGM Cup

Bob, you missed out one thing there. Andover Town have refused promotion and will now be sent to Step 6. AFC Mansfield are the beneficiaries with next best ppg. This is why there has been some stunting about.
