All the best to Keith in the future.

Whilst it may well be off the field circumstances that have lead to Keith's departure it is still another constant change that can't be good for anyone at the club.

In Spencer's defence I genuinely believe he took a lot of the fans advice on board before the start of last season with many fans wanting to see a farnborough side made up of local boys who want to play for the shirt. This is evident by the return of Nic, CJ being made captain and seeing a few of the Academy boys being given their chance. However the next step is avoiding the constant change of core players being changed every 4/5 weeks. My only guess is either Spencer is far too quick to swing the axe when things aren't going well, or players don't feel Farnborough is a place they want to stick around at - my hope is the former and Spencer (and he coaching staff) can show a little more patience and willingness to work with players.

One worrying thing was the comment about being back to training two days a week. Granted the fixture congestion over Christmas is a little heavy but in our current position I would have made sure we at the very least got our two days of training in. I'll come back and do it for free until the end of the season if it helps!

Good result yesterday and SD is right in what he says, the home form is good but the current character and lack of any real cohesion suggested by our numerous hammerings this season can not be overlooked.

Agree with Lawson's comments. Spencer's record shows he is quick to axe players, especially the keeper's ! He should also be careful when dismissing fan's comments as "keyboard warriors" some actually sponsored players at the beginning of the season who are now no longer at the club!. I think the majority of the fans who post have been more than fair with their comments.

2 days training a week is 2 days a week more than they've been training for most of the season!

I would have thought that two nights a week training is a minimal requirement for this level, and for it not to have been happening is clear reason as to our erratic performances this season.

Selecting Wednesdays for our home games has also, in my view, made the Tuesday/Thursday training even more difficult.
If we played on a Tuesday, then we have Thursday to make any changes or sort any problems out before the next Saturday !!

The other mitigating factor is, with the loan system in place for a proportion of the squad, training nights probably account for a much smaller percentage of the squad being available for training sessions, and that can't be good for understanding or togetherness of the team that takes the pitch on match days!

Making swingeing changes and bringing in different players at short notice doesn't assist it either.

Whilst I fully understand the financial situation though, I agree that it's correct to live within our means, which is commendable.

However the constant revolving of players, and changing of the team positions form match to match, particularly with the keepers, is tant amount to an admission of failure and a Management and coaching system that appears to be not up to the required standard.

Through all this though I don't put any blame on the players, it's not always their fault, I'm sure they are all doing their best in difficult circumstances.

To blame keyboard warriors, and missing supporters, who have voted with their feet by refusing to pay premium prices for sub standard performances is, In my view, an attempt to deflect from the real problems, which have been with us for many seasons now!!.

I look forward, once again, to the new intake, and hope that we can at least get some sort of consistency in the squad for the remainder of the season, and we can get of to a new season with a settled squad at least, but then I thought that at the start of this season, which is why I bought a season ticket.

If I can't see some really positive differences by May, I may not purchase one again!!

Why waste your life hoping for something we all know will never happen? I remember binning my VP season ticket after one too many Westley dross-fests, and despite the money down the bog I felt free.

The Boro we knew and loved is gone, the ground will be a grotty social housing project sooner or later. Despite the enormous corporate hosting opportunities available at the location, no-one is bringing in the punters - despite the fortuitous location. Remember Mr Python and his less than alive exotic Aves? Or a chubby Mr Lister in deep-space coming out of stasis? That's Spencer's (or whoever "owns" the club) Boro, that is.
