Saving my thoughts on todays debacle for another time when I can compose myself, but for now I want to concentrate on another departed friend of the Boro in George Lloyd, Dom's Grandad!!
Having only known George for a few years, since he started bringing Dom to the Club, and supporting the FaST away coaches, I have to say he always came across as a true gentleman, and thoroughly nice man to know.
Always a welcome smile and handshake, and I don't think I ever heard him swear, or criticise anything that was happening at the Club or on the pitch. Always a resigned shrug and a "oh well lets see what we can do next week"
A regular in the VP Lounge, and one of the first to "Boost the Boro" with the sponsorship of John Oyenaga!
A lovely man, and true Boro Supporter sadly missed
Two very good friends lost recently with him and Gus.
R.I.P George and Gus.

Well said Bob - You have said it all - nothing to add except I am very sad this evening.

Thank you very much Bob and Dave. I'm currently lost for words.
Thank you to everyone for all their messages of support.
I have recieved so many emails and messages on social media today; it's truely amazing.
The Club have kindly agreed to hold a minute's silence before Wednesday's home game with Banbury United, for which me and my family are very grateful.
You will be sorely missed George!
