More ins and outs   Message 45340Wed, 03 January 2018 13:48  Go to next message

From Spencer's post-match interview...

Liam Bellamy gone (already announced elsewhere)
Jamie Cureton to Bishop's Stortford (ditto)
Jake Evans going, probably to Cardiff City
Kieron Forbes gone (didn't say where)

Matt Campbell (aka Matthew Campbell-Mhlophe) in, ex-Millwall
Nathaniel Oseni (defender, ex-Fulham & Manchester City) in, was suspended for the last game

From what I heard he was non-contract playing for match fitness whilst waiting for the transfer window to open to move-on to bigger and better things... He could be one of those 'we had him at the Boro once' players who go on to succeed.

What a sad waste of time that was, when he could have had a regular spot with us, even if he is going off to the states eventually!

If not, then he could come back tomorrow in my books! God we missed his power runs down the right.

Spencer has given others a second chance in the past but JO would need to be genuinely apologetic I'd guess.

Hope the lad has learned a valuable lesson about the green, green grass of elsewhere...

He is at college up there, so hardly likely he could commute back here, particularly for midweek matches!
So nothing to do with grass being greener or more cash. Made complete sense for him to join a club near where he is living going to college.
The thing in America fell through before he moved to Wales.

Half the problems in football come down to the 'parasite' agents in football, and the money that is awash, certainly at higher levels, but it does have a knock on effect at lower levels too!!

Fill the players head with nonsense and unreal/unachievable ambitions, unsettle them at the current Club, alert a proposed Club that player is unhappy, and take the cut from agents fees and transfers when he moves!!

Absolutely none of them has the Players/Clubs interest at heart whatsoever!!

I just wish FIFA and the FA could ban all agents.

Surely players are intelligent enough to discuss options/problems with Clubs for themselves, as most people in work do with their employers?

Or are they????

It's been mentioned on here before. He was applying for college in America but that fell through so he moved to college in Wales instead.

So you don't have a source - just assuming from past message board hearsay.

That's fine, its probably accurate, but don't pretend you're the infallible voice of God on such matters.

Well people have assumed he left for more money for a team in Wales which has no logic at all! He lived in London so he was hardly likely to move unless it was for work or education. Too many people making judgments on here!
