Our "favourite" ex-manager   Message 43851Mon, 11 September 2017 06:21  Go to next message

Yep, GW's trying to install himself at another club with no money. Services offered at little or no charge, I'd imagine.

A man with enough money to distract from his record of abject failure as a coach will always be treated as a saviour of penniless clubs.

Despite having no football management ability or skills whatsoever.

I feel for Torquay - no one deserves that.

What have Torquay done to deserve that??
Still, desperation grabs at any straw!! Don't we know it?

Surely he'll throw his hat into the ring for the Palace job? ;)

Goodness only knows what Preston North End were thinking of. At least sanity prevailed after a while.

Poor old Torquay - but if anyone can take them down, GW can. He'll probably bring in a number of paraplegics (not that I have anything against those who are unfortunate to be short of a limb or two), and convince them that attitude is more important than ability - then watch as TUFC slip into oblivion.

I used to root for PNE - I think they are a sleeping giant - but then that gnome took charge, and I couldn't find it in myself to care about them. I like TUFC too - ever since we turned them over in the FA Cup, I've followed their non-progress, hoping they would come good. I will hope that they get a result at Barrow tomorrow, but not if Gay Helmet Wars is the gaffer.
