The Early Bird catches the Season Ticket   Message 42885Wed, 10 May 2017 12:31  Go to next message

http:// www.farnboroughfc.co.uk/2017/early-bird-season-tickets-now-o n-sale/

So the prices are out. I'll leave this thread here so everyone can share their outrage and/or sheer indifference.

Personally, glad they've left the kids free and I sort of expected the 12 quid shift.

Will be there most games so it's a saving.

Not a bad price seeing as the Southern Prem league has two more teams.

It's basically a 30% discount.

And I bet free burger n chips will return.

If it keeps the squad together I'm happy.

Kings Lynn Town are chargeing £15 for some games this season. Hopefully we will not be classed as a Category B game team after traveling all that way.

If we're in their division of course.

I think the ST offer is an extremely good one and offers some useful savings.
Senior price of £10 per match equates to £230 per season, which means a saving of £70, or seven free matches, if you buy a season ticket.

Note to self, must have a meeting with hon treasurer indoors, and need to build up some brownie points over the summer!!

Looks like they already have their eyes on a bumper payout when Hereford visit. Making it up as they go along.

I have one quibble with the 2017/18 match-day admission pricing, which is:-

    £12 Adult
£10 Concession (over 60 or disabled)
    FREE Under 16
    FREE Army members

There is a pricing cliff for young people who turn 16, from FREE to £12.

This is unfair on under 18s as all are required to be in some form of education up to this age and won't be earning much if any money - the days of leaving the education system at 16 went away years ago.

This pricing cliff also impacts full-time students aged 18 to early 20s. An "in-between" price is needed to encourage continuity of support as our younger fans grow older.

AFC Wimbledon have been good at doing this for a while now. Here's their season ticket pricing structure for next season (they also have differentiated match-day admission prices):-

    £275 Adult
£175 Concession (over 60 or disabled)
    £100 Young adults (aged 18-21)
    £40 Under 18s

These are just the season ticket prices. Maybe the powers that be will intro a match day 16-21 young persons or student ticket price.

Although I can see this causing delay at the turnstiles.

Is the club going to look at segregating that one? If possible now those far fences have been removed?

Good, quick, and welcome, response from the Club's admin.
Nice to see things coming together for once.
Behind the scenes working well, new sponsorship coming in, and an exciting squad of players assembled, and supporters slowly starting to return!!
Bodes well for the future.

Don't worry Kevin - it was intended to be a light hearted remark.

I wonder if there are going to be any concessions for Northern, disabled, transgender vegans this year?
