Blimey we had enough chances. How many does Cureton need? Looks like Curtis has done his hamstring and CJ got a back injury. Hopefully the latter will be ok for Saturday but if Curtis has done his Hammy thats his season over.

Did anyone else hear the racist remark which appeared to be aimed at the ref by a mindless idiot? Sad to say it was one of our 'Supporters' who did it. Unfortunately i didn't see who said it but it was met with some laughter, which makes it all the more sad

too much tapping around on rubbish surface. take the chances next time! a little flick here and there up top didn't work, nor did making Jamie a focal point in attack. best place for him is in the box as he's a poacher and finisher.

Cox didn't look overly fit, was he carrying a knock?

Keith covered everything along the back line and had a good game.

didn't hear a racist remark but did hear a homophobic one towards him.

Sorry state of affairs if our so called supporters are resulting to this. A name has now been passed onto to me who was responsible for the racist comment. An adult in their 40's who should know better

He was dubbed Kim Jung Un because of his hair cut, not quite sure why that's deemed racist. Also if you hear what you believe is racism then why not report it at the ground or question it at the time?

I've also heard homophobic abuse hurled by a couple of our home supporters during this season. A strong commitment to the Football For Everyone campaign would certainly make it very clear where FFC stands on this issue and would further marginalise those ignorant few.

Some of you know me as Jose. I am posting to apologise for the racist remark that has been mentioned on here. I'll admit to being drunk yesterday and don't remember making it but I'm told by a few people that it was me.
People who know me know that I like a laugh and freely get involved with the banter, mostly made for comedic effect. They also know that I condemn racism in all forms, which makes my comment yesterday all the more distasteful, to myself not the least.
I've decided to register to comment, something I've not done before, to show my remorse for my actions. If the administrator decides to cancel my registration after this, so be it. Once again, I apologise for what I said, to all at Farnborough FC. I've been an enthusiastic supporter of the club for nearly twenty years, and look forward to being one for a long time to come.

Rob Clark

Well done for holding your hands up mate. I don't think you can do anymore. Hopefully the club might say something along the lines of they don't condone this behaviour.
We all do and say things we shouldn't do after a few beers, but hopefully this wont happen again.

Cheers Creeky. I feel really bad about what's happened, and any bad impression the club may receive on the back of it.

Can I ask if this was noted by the ref or was it only a Farnborough fan who highlighted the incident?

And has that fan made an official complaint to the club?

If so, why?! This is the last thing we needed surely...

So basically Joe you are saying its ok to make racist/ homophobic remarks and not expect anything to be said or done as we don't want to bring a bad name on the club? With the recent lets kick racism out of football campaign the club has a duty to stamp down on this. If this was said on the street, in the pub or at work the consequences would be far greater than a slap on the wrist. But in answer to your question yes a complaint was made and the culprit has apologised and the matter is dealt with.

With the greatest of respect, you are not in a position to say whether it's been dealt with or not yet.

We have a situation where no match official noted the alleged racist remarks. The alleged perpetrator doesn't even remember making the comments and several people have suggested the comments weren't even racist. More a comment about the haircut looking similar to a certain Dictator.

I was simply questioning the validity of the complaint, whether the correct channels were used and therefore whether this was just a case of stirring things up for the sake of it.

In no way was i suggesting that the club should bury rascist behaviour.

An email was sent to Kevin Dyer regarding this. Kevin quite rightly was less than happy but to cut a long story short an apology was made and accepted by both the club and complainant as they agree it was a one off from the alleged culprit so is very much dealt with. Should you want discuss this further contact Hammer74 directly or better still see him on Saturday
