He was called a cheat Carl by their supporters who's knowledge of the rules and laws of the game were quite dim....

It's the rose tinted glasses that fans of every club has when watching there own team.

Watch a game as a neutral and you will have a totally different look on the game.

Very concerning allegations posted on social media after the game. Racial abuse was also being discussed by home supporters in the area the incident happened after the match (most Farnborough fans were up there other end).

The organisation Kick It Out has a number of reporting methods available to anybody who has seen, heard or been on the receiving end of discriminatory abuse in a football environment - whether it's involving a grassroots, non-league or professional game, as well as online abuse.

When Kick It Out receives a report of discriminatory behaviour which has taken place at professional or non-league level, a clear process is undertaken to proceed forward with the complaint.

STAGE 1

Complaint received and details are recorded. Kick It Out talks you through the ongoing process, timelines and outcomes you can realistically expect.

STAGE 2

Details will be forwarded on to the club concerned, through the relevant club representative, and a copy will be forwarded to The FA.

STAGE 3

Clubs or The FA are asked to respond. Kick It Out will send a reminder if no immediate response is received.

STAGE 4

Kick It Out will keep the complainant informed of any investigation updates.

STAGE 5

If you are unsatisfied with the outcome of the club's investigation, we are able to inform the appropriate authority; the Premier League, the English Football League (EFL) or appropriate national association.

STAGE 6

If you are still unhappy with the way the incident has been dealt with, you may wish to refer your complaint to the Independent Football Ombudsman who will adjudicate it independently.

The online reporting form is available here:
www.kickitout.org/forms/online-reporting-form

Hopefully Taunton Town will make a statement soon and a banning order will be issued. The liquid being thrown over a player is bad enough and racial abuse is a hate crime.

I was at the game but like most other Farnborough fans was up the other end of the ground so didn't hear anything but at the final whistle John Oyenuga made a Beeline for someone on the sideline and was visibly very angry. Taunton fans on twitter are playing it down but i believe a club official heard it all and reported it to a Steward who replied "It's only Banter".

Myself and another Farnborough supporter were right by the incident as we were waiting for the gates to open to exit the ground. The homesupporters called John Oyenuga 'a f@@king cheat'. John stopped and confronted the home supporters who in turn repeated what they earlier had said. No racial words were spoken.

There were three incidents, one during the game and two after. In two different locations. Were you at all three or just one?

Paul, I was replying to Carl's post above. We were by the home supporters who spoke to John Oyenuga and the incident that Carl is referring to. If there were any other instances during the match, we never saw or heard them.

If it's gone to the League and the F.A., and considering how long it took to sort out our League Cup problem, don't hold your breath mate!!

It is my understanding the Avon & Somerset Police have identified the pint thrower and are now gathering evidence for a case relating to the other incidents of racial abuse too. Early days yet. Not sure how helpful Taunton Town have been with the investigation and therefore it was unsuprising to read reports of further racial abuse directed at a Hartley Wintney player during their game last Saturday. Shameful.
