Bizarre - they appeal for a pen, ref points to the spot as they slide the ball in then he gives a goal.

We keep seeing the same thing time and time again: we get the ball, attack, it breaks down and we repeat the process having all the possession and territory, then they have one attack & score so we are now chasing the game through our own inability to fashion a chance when we get to the 18 yard box... Now we have to work hard to come from behind against a team who have yet to win this season and have just scored only their 3rd goal in 9 games.

Spencer was found out last season. He lacks the ability to be a successful manager at this level. The last couple of results have reinforced that.

Any decent management team - Hartley Wintney's for example, or Basingstoke's - would have these players at the top of the league. Instead we're losing at home to the division's rock bottom side.

Cue a clear out of good players brought low by bad management and tactics for the umpteenth time.

That was awful. Until Spencer steps down from team management the club will continue to drift and decline. Such a shame to witness the spiral downwards of such a once happy and great club. As you say he is not good enough at this level, but no doubt he will remain the manager due his ego. If he was not the owner his management record would have seen him sacked long ago.

So. Another half dozen new players next week? Can't help but think there's a common thread to our worst performances that has nothing to do with the quality of the individual players...

I think it is just that we like to take pity on the clubs at the bottom of the table and give them a few points. Last season we gave Dunstable and Gosport their first 3 points of the season when they were well adrift at the bottom, this year we have presented such a gift to Chesham. We are nothing if not generous to those in need.

So much chopping and changing of starting XI every week.
How do you expect to play well together each game??
I think an extremely good example at the moment of sticking with a team and getting rewards is WOLVES. Their manager has stuck with the same starting xi for 8 consecutive matches and rewards have come.

Nothing against the players that put on the Boro shirt, consistency is such a key...It doesn't matter if you pick an xi and they lose a few games, stick with them, its a club on and off the pitch plus surely training and team spirit comes with it too.

It would be so nice to see 25 players used in a season, rather than 40/50/60..

So far this season in 9 league games, we've had 27 players wear the yellow..

I know I said I wouldn't comment on here anymore, and nothing any of us say will change the situation at Farnborough one iota, there's only so much blind faith/spin and b******t people will put up with, and that has just about reached rock bottom now!!
How the attendances stay around the 200 mark astounds me!

As a long standing Wolves follower though for some sixty years, I am absolutely delighted and thrilled as to the way the Club has come back to life, and in a big way!!

It has come about though, through some extensive, external, funding which may or may not turn out to be a good thing??

By comparison at our level I look at Eastleigh, and Billericay, and the likes of Rushden before, plus our own disastrous history, so I am a bit apprehensive at best.

Great players and a superb coach at Wolves, although being mostly Portugese, I am wary of the cold frosty days and nights of Jan/Feb, and places like Newcastle away when they will be sorely tested, and the second season will always be the toughest!!

Compare that to Bournemouth. A much smaller Club, again well invested and backed, but a third of Wolves support capacity, doing extremely well with a mix of old heads and young guns, looked after by probably the brightest young, ENGLISH, Manager in the game.

The one thing both Clubs do have in common is the persons in charge, are both superb coaches and Man Managers!!

They are both Football Clubs Farnborough is NOT a Club!!

Enough said!!!

Going back to the Wolves, watch Coady at the back, a Scouser and definitely a clone of 'Crazy Horse' Emlyn Hughes!!

Lets hope his career is as long and good.
