Dorchester should be interesting   Message 44038Tue, 26 September 2017 23:56

After a disastrous start to the season, Dorchester have changed managers. The new boss is none other than Steve Thompson, who was a formidable opponent of ours, well FTFC, on the pitch at Slough, Wycombe, Yeovil and Woking.

Having relinquished his Assistant Manager role at Woking, his first match in charge of the Magpies was a 1-0 win at Dunstable - no great shakes as Dunstable are so weak. No doubt he'll be looking to make his mark (again) at Cherrywood, so we'll have to be on our toes to get the result we want.

My prediction?

1. We're likely to concede as the defence and the defensive midfield hasn't been sorted out (12 goals conceded in 8 games is not something to be proud of).
2. Do we have better strikers and attacking midfielders than Dorchester? I suspect we do, but we need to be totaly focused and organised to get the 3 points.

2-1 to Boro' for me.
